Carson was pretty broken up as well and that’s when my antenna went up. It was just a split second and my interpretation of that moment.

Obviously didn’t announce anything on the air only that they would be reporting on regular news and that’s what Savannah would want.

I know they are close in real life, so it is not out of the realm of possibility that Savannah is updating them privately.

This is about 30 minutes after Craig said Hoda would be with them this week and they had a completely different demeanor at 7:30 versus 7 AM – more somber. I hope we’re just reading into it but if you look at the two clips, there’s a definite mood change.  [/quote]

I saw the clip and interpreted their behavior to be somber and sad to show support for their colleague yet also to move forward with telling the news, as “this is what Savannah would want.”[/quote]
