DS' best friend's older brother was deported. He had DACA and it was time for his 2-year renewal. He was out of the country for 4 days before he made it back.

Also, this older brother is his caretaker here in the US. DS' best friend is a US citizen. He was born here and has only lived here. His father passed many years ago and his mother (not a US citizen) left the US about 3 years ago to care for ill relatives. When the oldest brother told the agents about his minor US citizen brother, nothing was done. No one contacted the brother. Older brother has no criminal record and is/was? enrolled in community college and has/had? a fulltime job. So now the older brother *is* back here illegally. I have no idea what will happen on that front as his DACA protections are gone, I suppose. The younger brother will graduate in a few weeks and turn 18 in July. I told DS he can offer to let his friend stay with us until he goes to college this fall.   [/quote]
