Children were expected to be potty trained and to be able to change themselves in case of accidents. I taught preschool Sunday school through Catholic Church and was not permitted to help with toileting—could not even enter the bathroom with them to help them wash the hands unless the door was propped open. I don’t think you are up to date on current child protection practices.[/quote]
