That doesn’t make it better. How do you not go in and save your spouse? And even if he did, that’s still bad because he was just standing there checking his phone while kids were dying then when his spouse gets shot, it’s an emergency? No. I don’t understand why they’re allowed to check their phones in an active shooter situation. Doesn’t that make it more dangerous, having distracting phone calls and texts? Shouldn’t they be using radios to communicate with other good guys with guns, and not taking personal calls and texts? Is this the same cop who was off duty and got the call that his wife was shot while he was at the barber shop, borrowed the barber’s shotgun and went down to the school to save the day? Or is this the cop who had to be forcibly disarmed and dragged out of the school to keep him from stoking the class where the active shooter was killing children and teachers because he might make a tactical error? It’s hard to tell from the video. [/quote]
