It is so strange this issue is framed as a stand off between two sides who need to compromise when only one of those sides is actually demanding anything and the other has already voted to reopen the government with no strings attached.
Who would trust Nancy to bring up border wall funding again? Trump sure doesn’t. I wouldn’t.
Who would trust Trump for anything? He's already gone back on his word many times.
Not sure what promises/word Trump has gone back on. I think you are so caught up in your hatred for the man. He’s keeping his word to his base, as you would expect him to do. He’s not going to do what George HW Bush did when going against his “no new taxes pledge” and get his base upset when he breaks his promise.
He said he wouldn't shut down the government until Coulter tweeted him. Some on DCUM said he didn't say that, but everyone knew it, which is why the Senate pased a budget last month and the House was about to. In February he reneged on $25 billion for the wall in exchange for DACA. If he was interested in keeping his promise on the wall, that was his best chance. He blew it. He promised an infrastructure bill. Five hundred infrastructure weeks later, no bill. Why doesn't he keep that promise?
