The landscape continues to change. CCL just added Herndon. A pretty good size club and with strong teams. Seems like a quality add. http://www.clubchampionsleague.com/2018/03/16/2018-herndon-youth-soccer-to-join-ccl/
They were better off in NCSL--especially their teams that will now be put in CCLII which is a huge joke and non-competitive.
statement says that their top teams will be ccl. ccl2 is the second teams. There is some good competition in ccl2, not all but there is.
very few. My kid played in CCL2. The same 6 teams. There was only 1 other team that was equal caliber. The rest of the time we watched them win 12-0. It was boring. Then, they would go to a non-CCL tournament and experience that game in the opposite direction and be completely surprised that they weren't the superstars they thought they were. All of the parents wanted more competition and would have preferred to be in NCSL vs CCL2. I have seen Herndon play a lot and I just think with Pro/Rel, they are much better off with the variety of teams and styles present in NCSL.
