The percentage of Americans who are unprofessional trigger happy ICE agents or protesters with the time and brazenness to interfere with Federal Law Enforcement make up a fraction of a percent of our population. These are not sides. These are two small factions of people who, together, have become a ticking time bomb that was inevitably going to go off.

Sorry I shouldn't have said "both sides".  What I mean is that like immediately after this, the Republicans aligned with the ICE agent and the Democrats aligned with the victim.

I wish Republicans would come out and say, "hey we have a HUGE problem with what that ICE agent did and he should be charged with murder."

And I wish the Democrats would come out and say, "hey that was a huge tragedy.  Let's not let her death be in vain.  If you are going to insert yourself in ICE operations, you need to stay calm, have a plan, and understand the stakes / the situation."  (Not trying to victim blame but obviously in hindsight we can watch the video and see that she should've made different choices - though her murder is never ever justified). [/quote]

A perfectly reasonable choice is not placing yourself at the mercy of split second decision-making by unhinged and inexperienced trigger happy LEOs. That is personal endangerment. I would beg and plead for my children and grandchildren not to make such choices and anyone else with any common sense would do the same.[/quote]

She was there first, i.e. she did not “place herself” at his mercy.  What exactly do you *think* you’re talking about?  Because whatever it is, it’s not reality.[/quote]
