[/quote] This is really just incorrect. Damage from gluten isn't cumulative, and there is no "severe" or "mild" celiac disease. Celiac is a disease that you either have or do not have. Even if you have celiac disease, but aren't experiencing symptoms (silent celiac) you still have the disease and gluten is still causing damages, you just aren't feeling them.
