I would be careful about putting too much stock in what anonymous posters write on here. I know several people who posted totally made up stuff about acceptances, etc on this site today just to mess with stressed out type-A parents. There are a few vocal people who bash GDS all the time. It is not a stretch that someone just made the phone calls up[/quote]

+1 There is a lot of negativity and anger in this thread. So much energy could be re-directed to more important things... My apologies, but some of the comments reminded me of high-school: "My DC has not been accepted but I really don't care because it was not our first choice, [b]AT ALL[/b][u], you know, and additionally the receptionist was wrong about the e-mails... Inadmissible!"  (?!) Poor receptionist (independently if it is true or untrue that she did a mistake, either way is not nice).
Anyhow, I am truly sorry for those who were not accepted and really wanted to me admitted, it might be the case next year (or you might get off the WL) GL.[/quote]
