This discussion has been very helpful in understanding the mind of of someone who will defend the indefensible.  I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of still practicing catholics, who raised their children in the faith are not as dug in as pp and just continue for the "tradition" putting the evil in the back of their minds, instead of trying to justify it.[/quote]
