Start with the ones denying it has anything to do with slavery.  The fact that it is intractably entangled with slavery, just as the Nazi swastika is intractably entangled with the murder of millions of Jews, is not "my" truth, it's THE truth.

Start with the fact that it STILL is intractably entangled with white supremacists and hate groups.  The photos that were posted all came from within the last 2 years, they are a depiction of what is still CURRENTLY going on, not of what once was.  That's not "my" truth, it's THE truth.

If this does not comport with what you believe to be the truth then you are deceiving yourself.[/quote]
