I am default 3/4 of the year because DH is a teacher. It is not all that good for my career. The good news is that I have my own clients, and therefore can set my own schedule, more or less. Makes it hard, though. [/quote] And I wonder if it is me. My DH works for a non-profit and, while he doesn't work long hours, has to be at his desk during working hours. The great thing about being a BigLaw partner is that you have a ton of flexibility. People who choose not to use it are hiding from their kids/spouse.[/quote]
