Just look at the current enrollments in the Madison and Marshall pyramids, and figure out whether that type of realignment that was being discussed (all Town of Vienna kids to Thoreau/Madison, all of Thoreau to Madison, all of Kilmer to Marshall, and AAP at Thoreau) would have a negative impact on any of the schools involved. It clearly would be a good thing to balance the enrollments at Kilmer and Thoreau, and it doesn't seem like it would have a negative impact on either Madison or Marshall. Each would both gain and lose a few neighborhoods. But, again, it's all hypothetical, in response to the posters who asked how this could happen or complained about the current feeder patterns. If FCPS is dealing with bigger issues, it won't get around to something like this any time soon. [/quote]
