W&L's honor code has been widely recognized as playing a more important role at the school than is the case at a big state university.

Seriously, I think they all have honor codes.  Certainly VMi did next to W&L.  My kids' colleges have them.  My husband's and my SLACs had them,as did my B school.  I don't think it's anything unique.  Every school we've toured mentions it and also how safe the campus is, you can leave your laptop in the library, blah blah blah and walk back 30 min. later and it will still be there.[/quote]
