U2 Unforgettable Fire at the Caps Center -- During Bad, Bono sang, "Come on down," over and over calling everyone to rush the stage. My BFF and I made it to the 3rd row on the floor. U2 Joshua Tree at RFK -- nosebleed seats, but still so good U2 Zoo TV -- Whoa. Unbelievable. Like when I am old, I would like to have this memory. U2 Pop Mart -- Say what you want. I had backstage passes and stood between the first row and the stage. U2 360 -- FedEx Field and Baltimore -- VIP tickets for both shows. Another major wow. Joan Osbourne with Lou Gramm at some no name festival somewhere. Holy sh*t what a good show. She sang her set and she was not well known. Lou Gramm did his set and then went over to the guy with the clipboard for a few words. He came back out and asked Joan Osbourne to sing a few songs with him. She was obviously surprised and looked terrified, but they sang some old hits that everyone knows and she just looked like someone had given her a million bucks. American Idiot with Billy Joe singing one role and John Gallagher (now on The Newsroom). Annie in London in the 80s with Albert Finney playing Daddy Warbucks Into the Woods in London in the 80s with Ian McKellan when he was not famous. I came home from that trip and told my parents as a high schooler that this actor Ian McKellan was going to be famous because he was amazing.
