Vince Lombardi, the poster boy for the raging coach, succeeded because he understood that his players were individuals and that each player had to be motivated differently. Contrary to his image, he didn't scream all the time because he knew screaming didn't work for everyone. Also, many of us understand that referees really don't care which kids win, so we treat referees with respect and don't interfere with them when they're doing their jobs. [/quote]
