The killer in Oklahoma openly tweeted he hated white people. And bragged about wanting to kill some 'woods.' That's a bit different than having thoughts.

I've never met a conservative that was racist. Liberals have done a good job painting conservatives all as racist homophobic people who hate anyone that doesn't look like them but that's not the truth. Conservatives want everyone to succeed, regardless of color. Seriously there is nothing a conservative loves more than hearing how some person from some poor country whether it be India, Laos, Somalia, Honduras, whatever, comes over here with nothing and makes a good life for themselves. Or even people in America who started with nothing and built themselves up. It's not like all conservatives are in some old white all boys club and don't want to see anyone else succeed. They want everyone to work hard and do well. Seriously. I know that doesn't fit into what a lot of liberals want people to think cause you get more votes if you polarize and depict people as hateful. He did - but the Republican DA decided that there was not enough evidence to charge him with it.  I am not going to say that I know better than the DA who actually has to prove it to jury.

Really?  I have met quite a few and a few racist liberals as well.

If that is the case, why are so many conservatives against all inclusive immigration reform that would give more people the opportunity to do just this?

As an independent moderate, I do not demonize conservatives or liberals.  But I also do not canonize them either.   I think allegiance to the "party line" actually prevents things from getting done that benefit everyone.  People are so entrenched!
