Sah Brown is the new IS. Camille Robinson interim principal Jackson Reed. Dr Kimbra Little (Deputy chief of DCPS) is new interim at School Without Walls
The SWW person was an AP (never a principal) and then came to the central office like 10 months ago with a brand new job that they had made up in terms of a title that had never existed before ( deputy chief of Social Emotional Academic Development--this being the direct report of a man who is now decamping for OSSE after being at DCPS for 2 years--Glenn Starnes--who was/is "SENIOR deputy chief of social emotional academic Development.") Now she's going to be principal of SWW? No wonder so many loathe the central office....a "deputy chief of social emotional academic development" (making almost $200,000) to report to a "senior deputy chief of social emotional academic development" (making even more than that???)
You’re an idiot. $166K (public salary look up isn’t hard) is not “almost $200,000” and someone having significant experience as AP before becoming a principal is kind of expected and part of the deal before becoming a principal. Why are you so upset about someone going back to support and lead a school? Grow up.
They're aware that their central office positions are most likely on the chopping block with the departure of the chancellor (and one of the 2 deputy chancellors asap) and the likelihood of a new mayor who is very different in terms of the current DCPS status quo and thus are trying to scurry away to the schools before reorganizations leave them without a cushy job. Not a bad ploy but definitely not "want to go back to the schools" sainthood here.
