These are 28's, so they've been doing the commuting for a couple years already. If it was that big of an issue, they would have transferred before now. We all know kids who do/will commute hours for a great program. It's likely the coaching and/or culture (which are usually closely related). Look closely at the schools with a higher than average # of transfers and you'll find a common denominator...coaching and/or culture (or lack thereof).[/quote] Also usually they didn’t get the playing time they expected. SJC is loaded with college commitments, so most kids wait until Junior year to get real time. Some kids don’t agree with that wait. [/quote]
