COURTS have orderd the administration to pay SNAP and they are refuseng to do it. It has nothing tp do with the shut down. SNAP benefits were never cut off in a shut down before. Until this one.[/quote]

That isn’t how it works.

Just because taxes are being collected doesn’t mean the money can be spent at the executive’s discretion.

The money must be appropriated by Congress.

Otherwise there is nothing to stop the executive from spending money on whatever they feel is a priority. (Something you likely wouldn’t end up supporting.)
