Not even close to problem solved. I had a friend whose baby died at 22 weeks. There was no heartbeat.

If 16 weeks was the law she would have been required to keep the dead baby inside her until the decomposition caused sepsis and posed an immediate risk to her life. That’s barbaric. [/quote]

No need to be a dick. None of the women in the earlier link had a fetus with no heartbeat. And only one woman you listed had a miscarriage (Marlena Stell). The rest all still had heartbeats.

I am a mother of two and I also grew up with a single mother as my father died when I was young. I do not want my children to grow up without me. Growing up with a missing parent sucks.

Without hesitation, if I were pregnant with a non-viable pregnancy, I would have an abortion, I'd prefer that to a far riskier C-section to be forced to watch my non-viable fetus die. The MOST important priority to me is being there for my two children. And yes, to be clear, scientifically speaking, C-section is a riskier procedure vs. abortion.

I am filled with anger that you would force your preference for how my own personal health situation should be addressed rather than allow me to make my own decision. But you don't believe in democracy, you believe in dictatorship and minority rules.[/quote]

Agree 100%. I don't want to have an abortion, but I had such severe complications with my first pregnancy, that I got my tubes tied during the c section to prevent another pregnancy.  However, if that hadn't worked for some reason, I would have 100% had an abortion as soon as possible, so that I could stay alive to raise my son. My situation/diagnosis/complications are not uncommon.
