Women should always have the choice to continue a pregnancy or give birth. It's basic bodily autonomy.

Not even close to problem solved. I had a friend whose baby died at 22 weeks. There was no heartbeat.
If 16 weeks was the law she would have been required to keep the dead baby inside her until the decomposition caused sepsis and posed an immediate risk to her life. That’s barbaric.

I am a mother of two and I also grew up with a single mother as my father died when I was young. I do not want my children to grow up without me. Growing up with a missing parent sucks.
Without hesitation, if I were pregnant with a non-viable pregnancy, I would have an abortion, I'd prefer that to a far riskier C-section to be forced to watch my non-viable fetus die. The MOST important priority to me is being there for my two children. And yes, to be clear, scientifically speaking, C-section is a riskier procedure vs. abortion.
I am filled with anger that you would force your preference for how my own personal health situation should be addressed rather than allow me to make my own decision. But you don't believe in democracy, you believe in dictatorship and minority rules.
Agree 100%. I don't want to have an abortion, but I had such severe complications with my first pregnancy, that I got my tubes tied during the c section to prevent another pregnancy. However, if that hadn't worked for some reason, I would have 100% had an abortion as soon as possible, so that I could stay alive to raise my son. My situation/diagnosis/complications are not uncommon.

All of the women still had heartbeats, too. But we know their heartbeats don’t matter. The only people that have less rights than a corpse are pregnant women. Even a corpse wouldn’t be forced to give up its parts, even if those parts could save dozens of people. Even if those people to be saved were only at risk of death due to the direct actions of the person that the corpse used to be.
It’s really something, isn’t it?

My religious grandma with 8 kids was always pro abortion rights.
One, she'd lived through the Depression. A friend of hers had a back alley abortions because they already had four kids and they simply couldn't afford another. Her friend almost died.
She has knew someone who had an abruption and was bleeding but they wouldn't treat it because it would mean ending the pregnancy (similar to what Chrissy Teigan went through). Except her friend died. This same situation is happening to women, the doctors are sending them away because they're not "sick enough".

The idea that these boys would not jump at the chance to have sex with a beautiful classmate is NIL.
The idea that these private school boys from wealthy families would not jump at the chance to encourage said beautiful classmate to have an abortion if she ended up pregnant with their baby at age 17 is also NIL.
My brother's kids go to some ritzy Catholic school and they go on these marches. The part I find ironic is that all of the kids are the product of assisted reproductive technologies that the Catholic church has condemned and which pro-life folks actually want to outlaw. So aren't they kind of protesting against their own existence?
