that's you get for being an obnoxious marylander - tough to take one's medicine lest one resort to petty nitpicking.  but then why the surprise when one get's venom thrown in the face?  perhaps MD is facing an inferiority complex and does'tt want to accept that things have changed in the last 20+ years?  I live in Vienna, hate the current nightmare construction but take the long view of things and can see a very bright future for our area.[/quote]

I don't know if you actually read the above posts, because the original statement wasn't even that venomous.  Why are VA people so touchy and angry all the time?  It must be the traffic.  why do you assume I've even lived in MD for 20 years?  I've only lived here a few years and chose to stay in MD because I like it a lot more.  If you don't work in VA and don't care for the shopping, then there's basically no reason to ever go there.  When I visit my friends and have to sit through gnarled traffic on Saturday mornings (!) just to get to their houses, I wonder why people think it's so great.[/quote]
