You can't be serious. Why would a teacher risk their safety for some nonsense. And what did you expect the studrnt body to do? You want more kids stabbed. I tell my kids anytime there is an altercation, be it verbal or physical there is a high likelihood someone has a weapon. Do NOT get involved. I also live by this. At the time the teacher walked by there was no stabbing going on. Have you even watched the video? I expect a teacher to say "hey, knock it off" and to tell the other students to stop congregating and disperse or at minimum immediately contact an SRO. There is no time of the essence in anyone. So is it Fairfax policy to just snap a photo and casually keep walking?

When your child is in FCPS building the school system is responsible for them. A teacher or administrator is a part of that. I don't expect anyone to jump into a knife fight so GTFOH with that angle. I do expect the adults to be adults. This lord of the flies attitude is insane.[/quote]
