I try to look closer at their political contributions and it is my understanding that Target leans Democratic in that regard. I always shop Lowes over Hone Depot for that reason too. Any information on which corporations are at least balanced is useful
You research every company you buy something from? It’s a purchase not a political declaration. For any sane and rational person.
DP Honey, this is a capitalist society with no limit on greed. The most powerful tool you have is your wallet. If you want to support a-holes and bullies, that’s your choice. I choose to support companies with a conscience and values that didn’t make me feel sick.
You do you but your $100 purchase doesn’t mean jack $hit to these companies. Virtue signal away.
It means something if we ban together. The Montgomery bus boycott worked because everyone did it.
Good luck with that. Never gonna happen.
Exactly. I was at Target on Sunday. Place was absolutely packed. Dig deep enough and you'll find something you don't like about every corp out there. Only solution is to move out to the boonies, grow your own food and buy a sewing machine (not sure where you're going to buy that from, but anyway...). We know none of you are going to keep up this self imposed Target ban. You'll be back in a few weeks. But keep on virtue signaling for fake internet points!
I walked though one that was nearly empty. So maybe you live in a red area.
Well, according to this thread Fairfax is red so... ?
According to voter maps, it is mostly blue. But like everywhere, the more rural you get, the more red it gets. So city of Fairfax is dark blue and west of fairfax Station starts to get red.
