Those interested in STEM generally choose Auburn, and the B School/liberal arts types usually choose Alabama. It's anecdotal, but I sat through a graduation ceremony at a private school in Alabama and it did seem that there were more kids headed to Auburn than Alabama. FWIW, all of the honor student friends of my relative that didn't go OOS went to Auburn. [/quote]
