Because she is a POC women and Americans won’t vote for that - no matter how much more qualified they are than the alternated facts DEI candidate that was elected
I love Winsome Sears and want to see her move up in national politics, but I didn’t vote for a sort of blackish / indianish woman because I hate POCs? Got it. Keep doubling down on that mentality PLEASE.
It will be interesting to see next year if Democrats will be racist and sexist and vote against Winsome Sears.
We already established you vote on policies, not DEI. Why is ok for maga to reject a woman based on race and gender and with the same breath expect Democrats to vote for someone against our policies? It is unbelievable how you want to get us in ' heads I win, tails you lose' I will vote Democrat over any Republican. It does not matter if they are black, woman, gay or straight or male. Why do you have rules for us that are different than yours?
DP. Wow, the PP's post went right over your head, didn't it? They were being sarcastic. The entire point is that of course Democrats would never vote for a Republican (even a black woman) - but they would also never consider that "sexism or racism." OTOH, when Republicans (obviously) don't vote for a Democrat (woman, POC, etc), that's all you people do - accuse us of "sexism and/or racism" when the reality is, we weren't about to vote for a Democrat. Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton - they didn't win because they are Democrats. Not because of their race or gender. So, to recap: no one "rejected Harris based on her race and gender." You can insist otherwise until you're blue in the face, but you just look stupid. And I will vote Republican over any Democrat. It does not matter if they are black, woman, gay or straight, or male. Get it?
Republicans are always going to vote Republican. Democrats are always going to vote Democrats. But presidential elections are decided by people who cross party lines.
