What has he said at these "listening" sessions? Will he actually DO SOMETHING on issues that were brought up?[/quote]

Next year…He already presented an “Entry Plan” to the BOE stating he needed 6months.  His focus this year is going to be on FY26 Budget, creation of the new Strategic Plan, and getting up to speed.[/quote]

I’m actually looking forward to him being more involved and informed with regards to the budget as I think it a leadership item sorely missing from MCPS outside of finance.  Strategic planning is the key reason why you hire a leader.  If he’s not going to be really involved in helping set the priorities and focus areas then I would question the purpose of him(or any Super) being around.  Just because he’s more involved doesn’t mean Administrators or Staff is off the hook for doing some really hard work.[/quote]
