DP here. My concern wouldn't be the public purse and I am a firm believer in the value of a liberal arts education... but I don't think Gender or Ethnic Studies students get a liberal arts education. They get indoctrinated.[/quote]

My kid got a Hispanic studies minor--that meant they took all the courses for the minor in Spanish and studied the history, geography, culture, art, politics of the regions.  How is that not a liberal arts education?
