I didn't always agree with his takes and would say he had an unrealistic expectation that kids would have positive behaviors and compliance at all times, which is just not realistic. But he could also be reasoned with.

Whatever happened I can say he didn't have a record of physical interactions with children so I can imagine he lost his temper and now is paying the consequences. That is something I can imagine happening to many people.

I am sad for the kid who experienced that from a trusted adult, for the kids who were witnesses, and for that school community.

He was my kid’s principal at Barnsley and I feel pretty similar to this.  [/quote]
