No, it has a larger GDP than the Northeast. That excludes so much of the Northern economy, and it includes places like Northern Virginia, the very place this guy is singing about. The Rich Men North of Richmond fuel the VA economy.[/quote]

Anyone with access to a blue/red state map can quickly see how laughable this is. There aren't enough blue states in the south for this to be possible.  You need to stop lying to try to win arguments because it sounds ridiculous.  [/quote]

The five richest southern states by total (not per capita GDP) are Texas, Florida, Georgia, Virginia and North Carolina.  Virginia and Georgia are purple at best. Most of the GDP is made in the blue parts of them.[/quote]
