Op here. I’m home now, but on day 13 of fever/chills/body pain (sternum and upper back).

I can’t care for myself, let alone my children.

I don’t understand how I can be sick for so long and I’m seeing no improvement at all. Just holding steady.

She has. Twice. The first time "Op here. The doc prescribed steroids and a mouthwash for me, but I don’t think I’ll take either."
The second time EKG, etc., came back clear. Why go to the doctor if you're not even going to follow their advice? [/quote]

Op here. The mouthwash was just to help with the pain from the sores, it was literally just lidocaine. I was managing fine without it. The steroid was also just to help me feel more comfortable and would not have cured me. Soon after the first doc visit, I felt much improved and believed I was better. Then we went to San Diego, I got sick again, and saw another doctor.

Not that this thread is helping, but I’m now on day 15 of running a fever/chills/body pain (save for a 3 day break in the middle when I thought I was better).

I’m really unraveling mentally. I’m just so incredibly sick and it’s gone on for so long.

My DH is helping by handling our small children so I can rest. I can’t lean on him for more.

Made juice to see if I can kick this thing but not feeling any improvement whatsoever.[/quote]
