Op here. I’m home now, but on day 13 of fever/chills/body pain (sternum and upper back).
I can’t care for myself, let alone my children.
I don’t understand how I can be sick for so long and I’m seeing no improvement at all. Just holding steady.
Any other HFM stories out there (in adults)?????
Getting on an airplane while that sick wouldn’t help.
Op here. I already explained we don’t live in DC and we drove for our vacation and it was during a period where I was feeling better. We did not fly anywhere.
Real car travel isn't a great idea while sick either, as you're finding out. The body is in a state of depletion. Doing anything, even riding, takes more out of it.

GO.TO.THE.DOCTOR
She has. Twice. The first time "Op here. The doc prescribed steroids and a mouthwash for me, but I don’t think I’ll take either."
The second time EKG, etc., came back clear. Why go to the doctor if you're not even going to follow their advice?

I thought I had improved….
I have a fever and chills. The sores are almost gone.
I’ve got like level 8/9 pain in my upper back/shoulders and behind my sternum.
I’m so freaking angry right now. Currently in La Jolla on a beach vacation with DH and small kids and I can’t get out of bed.
Is this COVID after all? I tested negative for it twice, but can this really be HFM?
So you traveled here to San Diego and brought this with you? You went on vacation while you were still feeling so sick that you're in bed? I don't understand you OP. There is something off about this whole thing. I've read every post from the start, this entire story is weird.

My money is on HFM.
Anyone else care to place their bet?
What the hell is HFM....spell it out.
Hand foot and mouth - what people said earlier in the thread. God, even a rhesus monkey could figure that one out!
Well pass the bananas then

Anonymous wrote:Op here. Ok so now I’ve got a ton of tiny, flesh colored bumps all over my hands that are EXTREMELY itchy.
What on earth could this be?
