Yes, a lot of people are excited about this movie. It's a weird concept with fantastic marketing, and indie movie royalty writing and directing. If it gets bad reviews, then sure no one will see it - it'll be another Babylon. If it gets good reviews, it'll be huge - and might even get Oscars.

NP and I am familiar with them and honestly that doesn’t draw me to the movie.  Noah Baumbach makes heavy, depressing movies like that one with Scar Jo and Adam Driver.  [/quote]

That was an unusually grim movie for him. Usually they are about families falling apart, but with a lot more humor (though that one had humor in it, too).

This is mostly Greta Gerwig's movie, though - she directed it, she is the primary writer (NB is second). It's her vision. I trust her to make something that will be good and that I will enjoy seeing. I do like NB, too, though. (FWIW they are a couple - you probably know that.)[/quote]
