Really? Greta has directed 2 Academy Award Nominees for Best Picture in the last 6 years. She herself has been nominated for Best Director, Best Original Screenplay & Best Adapted Screenplay. She’s also been nominated for Best Actress at the Golden Globes for an entirely separate picture. If you’re remotely a movie watcher (and if not, why are you commenting in this thread?), it’s really on you if you’ve never heard of her.

NP and I am familiar with them and honestly that doesn’t draw me to the movie. Noah Baumbach makes heavy, depressing movies like that one with Scar Jo and Adam Driver.

That was an unusually grim movie for him. Usually they are about families falling apart, but with a lot more humor (though that one had humor in it, too).

This is mostly Greta Gerwig's movie, though - she directed it, she is the primary writer (NB is second). It's her vision. I trust her to make something that will be good and that I will enjoy seeing. I do like NB, too, though. (FWIW they are a couple - you probably know that.)
