You cannot love someone and nit help them when you can. Love is an action word. My parents did not have much to give, but it was pretty clear that they gave a lot. If I had parents making 400k a year and offering exactly what my parents making 120k were offering without any reasonable explanation, I would not have felt loved. Sit with your children, explain why you think less is more and check in often/ make adjustments when they are needed.[/quote]
