Tearing people down is the main reason we have no hope. So quick to tear someone down gives us no will to try to get back up.

Missed work= missed money. Try self-enforcing family/medical  leave laws in a low wage job and  you find more pushback and strife. The poor always pay more for everything than the wealthy. Always.

Cars? The "new and used cars" are normally at astronomical interest rates. Predatory loans fund the wealthy's zero interest loans.  Same vehicles wind up back on the lots and in rotation to the poor who are kept in debt slavery.
