So the question is, do you think our kids should continue learning about slavery?  I feel like most people would say yes. Slavery is part of our history. It happened.
But...if you purposely mislabel the teaching of slavery as "critical race theory" then you can muddy the waters without seeming overtly racist. It's a dog whistle.

The only people (deliberately) mislabeling the teaching of slavery as "CRT" are liberals.  It's been stated again and again that teaching the factual history of slavery is NOT CRT, and is not considered such.  Liberals continue to twist words and insist that the teaching of slavery is what is being objected to.  Complete lies.  [/quote]
