Because being raised by right-wing, uber conservative, evangelical Christians, who went to Liberty for undergrad and for law school, who claim all muslims are terrorists and think all afghanis raise their daughters to be either 1) suicide bombers, 2) child soldiers or 3) sex slaves is better.  Versus being raised by your cousin and his wife, in America, surrounded by your culture, language, family.

Lots of racists adopt kids of color. Particularly white Christian Domininionist racists who feel "called" to save the poor Black/brown children. Adoptee rights communities of FULL of stories of transracial and international adoptions where the kids of color were treated terribly by their white parents. [/quote]
