Her magical thinking is entirely her own. Also not everyone does have fertility struggles  even late in life. And saying as much is not giving false hope, it’s a different experience. Some women will never get pregnant even if they try at 21, others will conceive if someone smiles at them. It’s not up to you to call out every person who doesn’t align with your expectations.
