Not according to this:

The official Montgomery County Public Schools enrollment for September 30, 2021, is 158,232 students.  This number is 6,518 students less than the projected enrollment of 164,750, and 2,332 less than last year's enrollment of 160,564 students.

Yes they're lying. A dozen years ago the school had around 144,000 students their own numbers show it currently has around 158,000. That is growth in my book.[/quote]

Here's an even more blatant example from the MCPS website:
