Because thoughtlessly leaving behind trash is not even on the same level as the defacement of national memorials.  The OP (you?) would have us believe this is what occurred the other night - when nothing of the sort did.  Maybe a little perspective - or rather, honesty - if you can muster it?[/quote]

Why the escalation and politicization? OP posted about this trashing the memorial, not about vandalism. Can't we agree that this was bad form without bringing in other more extreme examples or trying to make a political statement? Why are there 10 pages of mostly blasting OP. OK, maybe she was a bit dramatic, but it's still rude and shameful. I heard about it on the radio as well, so it's not like OK saw a little trash and freaked.[/quote]
