Youngkin is going to push to defund our schools with charters and vouchers. The people who will benefit most by that are private school families who will get their tuition subsidized. It will only further hurt the students left behind in public schools.

You've been trolling all over this thread with your absolute lies.  Charter schools - yes - admission by lottery.  These are PUBLIC schools.  The only voucher being proposed is a one-time $500/student voucher to help deal with Covid learning loss.  Could be used for a tutor or enrichment.  If you have actual facts to post, with links, please do so.  Otherwise, STFU with your nonsense.[/quote]

As already discussed in other threads, Youngkin has brought on a team of voucher advocates for guidance. They are pushing for voucher programs like WV, not just a $500 one-time payout.
