I'm not a grinch, but holiday cards after December 25th aren't as nice. After December 31, they go straight in the trash after I open them. I love displaying cards and like it when they arrive 2 weeks before Christmas. I have this pet peeve with birthday cards too. 90% of cards for me or my kids arrive after their birthday! Whereas I put up a birthday banner for the week before their birthday (I have little kids) and would like to leave the cards displayed on our island that week.
Not Op or Pp but guarantee all the PPs flaming those who think it’s not courteous to send cards in time for Christmas and go as far as say those who do are mental, unattractive, need a hobby, etc, probably send late. How about this- if you are too busy or forgetful to actually send a card prior to or on the holiday, don’t bother. If I am such an after thought that you cannot make it to the post office on time (holidays are same day every year) don’t bother. Everyone is busy, tired, done with Covid etc but still put thought into spreading cheers to others. I bet most of you posters typing insults don’t even tip your mailman and sanitation workers either.
I am fascinated by the idea that you can type this out and still consider yourself a person who is on the front line "spreading cheers [sic]". You sound desperately unhappy.
