Here’s how it happens for me. I take my dog to Petco for training class. Because I have driven 30 mins to get there and Target is next door I build a visit to Target into this trip. I can’t leave the dog in the car, and I am not driving 60 mins roundtrip to take her home and come back. She is little (7lbs) so I can carry her in a sling or purse and she is quiet. I have worked out a good system with my regular Starbucks along our walk in that I order in the app and wait outside until I see it come up or if they see us they wave me in and I rush in, grab the order and leave.
If you are having an asthma attack because a papillon is in a sack in a huge store then you should be wearing a ventilator everywhere. Your hyperbole is not helping your cause.
I have actually had reactions in stores to dogs the next aisle over, and I'm not the only one that has posted in this forum about having a severe dog allergy. I think I should be able to go to the grocery store, just like everyone else with a disability. Do you also walk your dog on a long retractable leash and trip older people with mobility issues because your dog just has to run around and if they dont' want to be tripped, they ought to stay home?
