Also MPD is not a huge force. It only has 3,800 officers budget 568 million. They sent 850 officers to the Capitol. If they had the NG units with them they would have had maybe 200 more people. Capitol police 2,300 officers and a budget of 450 million. The Capitol police had 500 on duty on Jan 6th.

The feds had more than enough train personal to handle the situation. They chose not to handle the situation. The Secret Service has over 6,000 officer, DHS has 60,000, Border Patrol 19,000 plus, etc. the crowd that stormed the Capitol was about 8,000. [/quote]
