I agree with PP. The level of hatred they inspire goes beyond thinking they’re fake or unattractive and straight into bitterness/jealousy territory. The lady upthread who called them pigs is an example. Why else would you use such an over the top insult for people you don’t even know?[/quote]

Well Kim did make the family famous solely through having sex on camera.

I can only speak for myself, I just don't appreciate that these women have made a living on a hyper sexual image and NO talent. And yes I know some will say they're talented because they've made a lot of money, but they've also had a huge support system financially and PR-wise. They're a horrible example for young girls, women, and even to men on what they should be placing value on in a woman.[/quote]

Tons of girls had sex on camera yet did not amount to anything.   Don't fool yourself.  If all it took to be famous was to have on camera...there'd be many more famous people.

+1. People hate her because she doesn’t have a traditionally white look, markets mostly to minorities, and is hugely popular. Mostly white women complain that she’s a horrible example for women, blah blah even though there are other women out there who have done similar things (like Paris Hilton). Miley Cyrus is just as “trashy” and doesn’t inspire the same level of hatred bc she is a regular white girl.[/quote]
