Well Kim did make the family famous solely through having sex on camera.
I can only speak for myself, I just don't appreciate that these women have made a living on a hyper sexual image and NO talent. And yes I know some will say they're talented because they've made a lot of money, but they've also had a huge support system financially and PR-wise. They're a horrible example for young girls, women, and even to men on what they should be placing value on in a woman.
Tons of girls had sex on camera yet did not amount to anything. Don't fool yourself. If all it took to be famous was to have on camera...there'd be many more famous people.
Kim is very talented, just not in the way you think. Her sense of the market and audience connection is unrivaled.
+1. People hate her because she doesn’t have a traditionally white look, markets mostly to minorities, and is hugely popular. Mostly white women complain that she’s a horrible example for women, blah blah even though there are other women out there who have done similar things (like Paris Hilton). Miley Cyrus is just as “trashy” and doesn’t inspire the same level of hatred bc she is a regular white girl.

I understand that, but she was a nobody until she had sex on camera and then capitalized on it. And then her entire family did. Don't give her so much credit, she is absolutely managed by her mother and publicists.

Yeah, someone in this thread keeps trying to hammer home that she's had plastic surgery. Which, if she has, it's very subtle and just to enhance what she has. She's definitely aging gracefully and not having anything done that many people in this very thread are likely doing too.

I bet that when she gets out of the bed in the morning she looks pretty average just like so many other beautiful people. Make up, hair styling, clothes can do wonders for an an average looking person. But she is pretty talented with a lot of charisma.

I like her a lot. I know who she is, as do all of you, because she is a smart, talented, charming, successful woman. For those reasons I can’t feel sorry for her but I do feel bad that there is even a thread about her looks and all the mean things people say. I’m sure if she was in a room with 99% of you, you’d all turn your heads and be in awe of her charisma and poise.
