Her career took an upward turn after she registered as an American Indian.  It would appear that was her motive in doing this.  Why would she suddenly decide to claim this heritage on a law license?  [/quote]
FFS... look at what the Trump family did 50 years ago which allowed them to become rich.  Look at Trump's housing discrimination suits.  In comparison, what Warren did is nothing.  Trump's racism is a much bigger deal than Warren's lying about her ethnicity.
