That Madlax 2022 team has plateaued and have started losing to teams they once beat. It is also a symptom of most Madlax teams. When they hit HS, people start scattering. Some looking for greener pastures and others simply tired of playing for Madlax. The other big issue is the dad coach has a son on the team and some parents are tired of the politics.
Also, if anyone watches how the coach behaves in the field (tirades at his players, opponents, and officials), they see the behavior as an embarrassment and just choose to disassociate with the organization. His behavior is reflective within all the teams belonging to the organization, not just his.
This is simply not true. Every coach is different. The new head coach for 2023 who also is an assistant at SJC is a quality coach. The old Club Blue 2023 coaches are very high caliber coaches. In the past teams have not always left in HS the 2017 team was one of the best in the nation. Kids do leave teams. Either they are better and want to play for a MD team like Hawks/Crabs or the do not play enough and may go to Blackwolf. The other post was accurate there are a few (not many) but a few openings on this team. All the other Capital teams including DC Dogs are set unless your son is a true standout player. Good luck lax parents, hope you choose the right program for your son...a program that values your child over profits.
